April 19, 2025, PLM's Mama Ngina Fatiu led her second outdooring for Egbe Oya Obinrin (Women's) Rites of Passage, finalizing a Black womanhood development process for Delisha Marshall, Jodi Hutchinson-Scotland, Tamika Joyner-El and Olivia Asaju in Baltimore, MD.
We celebrate these women for their dedication shown in their 3-year process, and all they have done in supporting PLM's community events over some years. Mama Ngina states, "These women have moved from the rites of transformation into the rites of incorporation, the aspect of the rites process where women take back the tools and skills from their process back to the community."
The three pillars of Nommo, the Fatiu spiritual foundation, are service, commitment and sincerity. We pray your process has instilled those core values as it is essential for spiritual growth and community empowerment. May those principles and the unwavering spirit of our ancestors continue to bless and guide you as you work towards uplifting our people and our community. We hope to see you on the front lines!
