COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & BLOCK CLEAN UP

Weekly Clean Ups

Self-determination begins with the simple things: cleaning up our neighborhoods.

Every Saturday, from 12pm-2pm on the 2100 Block of McCulloh Street in Baltimore City, we sweep and clean the neighborhood as a collective. From children to elders—we each help to beautify the neighborhood by painting, decorating, and planting flowers.

The weekly cleanup is organized by the youth to demonstrate collective action and self-determination. By cleaning our surroundings, we aid in cleaning our minds, spirits, and lives. All are welcome to join!

Light refreshments (water, fruit, breakfast bars, etc.) and supplies (trash bags, gloves, etc.) are provided.
