About the Author: Ife A. Fatiu is a community leader, poet/writer, doula, life coach, and breastfeeding peer counselor. She has been teaching and developing children for 14 years, community organizing & speaking for over 10 years. She is the co-founder of a licensed African-centered daycare in Baltimore, Watoto Development Center, and a non-profit, Urban Youth Initiative Project. She uses her talents and skills to conduct workshops for women & teenage girls, and leads an annual Black Women's conference in Baltimore.
