About the event

On 7/19 from 10 am - 12 pm, PLM continues to honor the legacy of John Lewis by engaging the community surrounding 30th & Greenmount with Urban Reads Bookstore to elevate Black consciousness. In the spirit of justice, unity, and remembrance, we stand united against racism, racial injustice, fascism, and police brutality. This community walk is both a protest and a reminder of the power of community and our people.

Tia Hamilton, owner of Urban Reads Bookstore in Baltimore, has been subjected to a disturbing wave of racist harassment and threats—primarily through online platforms and direct messages.
